Too many people chasing too little.

People use wood gas because it is free. They are not paying a penny to oil, coal or any other energy company.

Yes, wood is as finite as any other resource but people act as though humans should be an infinite resource.Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05075123015442859635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6549833027530186009.post-20173397735455367932008-08-30T05:17:00.000-07:002008-08-30T05:17:00.000-07:00The idea of using renewable fuel is a very good on...The idea of using renewable fuel is a very good one that I'm not looking to detract from. But wood gas? It would seem to me that we would then eat through the world's resources of wood much more quickly than they can be reproduced resulting in a situation not far from where we are now? What is it that I am missing?

Have a good day...Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02390585090990321138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6549833027530186009.post-4252625915939139882008-08-05T03:24:00.000-07:002008-08-05T03:24:00.000-07:00Ummm, a solar powered car. The best you are going to get is a battery powered car that is recharged by renewable energy.

Solar cells add weight to a car and you wouldn't get enough of them on a car.Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05075123015442859635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6549833027530186009.post-17191763627309412262008-08-02T12:01:00.000-07:002008-08-02T12:01:00.000-07:00I never even knew this was possible. Both components are flammable.

Coal gas has been around for centuries. The vehicle in the picture is running on coal gas.

Most cities that used gas prior to the 1970s were using coal gas. We already have the technology. Also in South Africa they have developed a way to turn coal into gas. The U.S. is the Saddi Arabia of coal. I think we should check this method out don't you?Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05942741995427683750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6549833027530186009.post-69423329286676356682008-07-19T03:08:00.000-07:002008-07-19T03:08:00.000-07:00Yes, you can't stop humans from travelling.foot - ...Yes, you can't stop humans from travelling.

foot - horse - Mayflower - train - car - plane - rocketJameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05075123015442859635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6549833027530186009.post-2460819316319742352008-07-18T13:26:00.000-07:002008-07-18T13:26:00.000-07:00What people will do to get from point A to point B...What people will do to get from point A to point B!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
